Artwork I created for a private print collective for a Wrestlemania 3 poster, growing up as a massive old school wrestling fan it was really exciting to tackle this one.

I decided to create this piece as a promo poster for the pay per view live event as it might have looked back in 1987. So I wanted to give it that classic WWF chrome aesthetic which i loved about the title. WrestleMania 3 was an epic one, with an indoor attendance record of 93,173 so i wanted to have that really epic live event vibe to the piece and have all the elements exploding out of the Pontiac Silverdome. Obviously We had to have the main event of Hulk Hogan VS Andre the Giant central and then incorporating some of the other headliner matches like Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Roddy Piper and Macho man Randy Savage. As always its a challenge to balance those elements into a piece of artwork without making it just a pile o’ stuff.
