Another alternate style piece I created, this time for super obscure 80s SOV film Slaughter Day. Released by Wild Eye Releases Visual Vengeance label. I wanted to do something in the more classic Italian Sandro Symeoni style again. Its a more free and loose style almost impressionistic at times, focusing on bold brush strokes to capture abstract shapes to effectively depict light and shade.

I’m really becoming more drawn to the work of Sandro Symeoni, cover art is becoming such a popular thing now and there is a lot of similar looks going on, so in the face of that Symeoni style is looking so much more fresh and different (all be it from the 50s-70s).
