Here are 3 pieces I created for the Vinegar Syndrome 4k special edition box set release of Six String Samurai. A post-apocalyptic action comedy film, set in a 1950s world a rock 'n' roll buddy holly samurai on his way to Lost Vegas takes a young orphan boy as Death and his metalhead Horsemen chase after them. Very much an influence on the Fallout games.  I wanted to go big on the “hero” image for this, with Buddy brandishing his rockabilly guitar and samurai sword aloft. Going with an orange colour pallet for the desert setting and also keeping in the classic colouring of all those old post apocalyptic VHS covers.

It consisted of one landscape piece for the front, side and back of box. and two inside panels. For which I created a skeleton of an old dead six string samurai warrior in the dessert and then a more simple image of the boy and samurai against the desert back drop.
