A throwback to the classic 70s biker films like werewolves on wheels. For the poster design I wanted to have the main bad biker dude prominent as he has this strong bad ass look with the big bike, beard, denim, long hair and sunglasses. I didn’t want him to come across as a ‘hero’ so I gave a double barrel shotgun to have more of a sinister ‘killer’ edge. The other main character is the young innocent (but not so innocent) girl turned bad. So I gave her a bloody knife and mean frown, wrapped around the base of the bike, which all goes together to create a cool visual that sells the film well.
I then surround this with the other character elements; The Nixon masked strippers and more of the bikers so you got the feel of them as a ‘gang’. Also I needed to represent the ‘horror’ of a monster Bigfoot. Something that plays out later in the film, so I wanted to have him in there, but not sticking out too much So I included Bigfoot more as part of the background and gave the composition three focal plains, biker and girl foreground, gang and stripers mid ground, road and bigfoot background.
