A set of 3 artworks I did for Vinegar Syndrome’s Home Made Horrors 2 box set. I used different painting techniques/styles on each one.

For Dead Girls I saw the film being a big homage to Mario Bava style Giallo films, especially with the trilby hatted, rain coat wearing masked killer. So I went heavy on the Bava style 70s Giallo art with bold chunky brush strokes and heavy read colouring. Then as its a band I brought it a “rock chick” guitarist with some abstract light touches in the background.
