An exciting, mammoth and intense job. I was approached by Studio Canal to create the artwork, I was immediately excited by the prospect of being able to illustrate such film icon as Nicolas Cage for a H.P Lovecraft film that heralded the return of Director Richard Stanley to create a cult film. I could write a fair bit about this but I had such a lovely comment from Richard Stanley I will share that:

Thank you so much for going the extra mile to make this poster a classic of its kind. Its colour and richness of detail fully evokes the weird splendour of the experience. You good folk have surely done yourselves and master Lovecraft proud. You have delivered by far and away the tastiest poster design I have yet to see for this freaky little film. 'COLOR' is currently on the rampage in the US and going from strength to strength, grossing higher nationwide per screen averages than any other film on its opening weekend - largely as a result of viral word of mouth. US distributor have officially taken to referring to the little beast as a 'phenomena', which suits the Color fine.

Now, how do I go about getting my claws on one of these beauties to frame on my study wall?
