This was an interesting project as it was more of an art restoration/revamp piece that i hadn't done before. Vinegar Syndrome wanted the original production artwork for the film that was only in black and white. So the job was to repaint this original image in colour and make it work for an all over slip cover.

I added tree pine with some extra christmas lights and baubles to put it into some visual context and allow the visual to bend around to the back cover where I incorporated the boy entering the room looking for santa on Christmas night. The original art is quite cartoon esque so i reduced his rather large nose slightly and then added blood splatter to give it a bit more of a sinister/horror tone.
